Botanical Antelope Canyon

Very tongue in cheek title. Hostas are a favorite subject for me and the layering of the leaves here caught my eye. I think I cropped it too tightly though. Do you? Luckily they have sprouted again.

Feedback welcome!

Nice shot. It does feel just a bit tight on the left, but I don't feel it pulls me out of it. Not sure what is over there either may pull me out if I do see it. You could tighten it up a hair more to cut the curve off before it touches the edge.

The crop and the proportions of the image make it look a bit squeezed laterally to my eye, Ruth, but I love the green forms and the overall feel.

Ha, it's Hosta time of year again! Mine aren't quite sprouting enough to be of interest, but you have certainly inspired me to get out there and compose.

Austin, Texas Blue Hour

Was down in Austin for a bit on a work trip. I've always heard how beautiful the skyline is from the river.

Was a little let down by the clouds, but what can I do!

Two from Tenerife

My two favourite images from my recent night time adventure in Tenerife. Foregrounds and skies were shot separately and blended in PS.

Any interest in this group?

Hi all, I was looking for such a group but see that although there are many members there hasn’t been a single post. Is there interest out there in getting this group going?
