I was in Milano for fashion week. I couldn't be there and not get in a shoot. I connected with a fashion photographer who was shooting runway at the shows. He took an afternoon and brought a model for us to photograph. Now I can add international collaboration to the list of accomplishments. I'll always remember that day. Molto bene!
This is not a good shot in the way we ould normally think of but I at least the got the eye dead sharp of this 5-7 day old Wood Pigeon which we have done our best to protect both parents.

I hate the term "fine art" but I don't know what else exactly to call these besides just black and white.
I spotted this blackbird tucked among the leaves. Unlike most birds, it didn’t flinch when I raised my camera it simply stayed put, almost as if it was posing for the shot.
This is deeply meaningful to me. Surviving and blossoming despite all attempts to stop me blossoming on my own terms.
