Hi guys, here I post my first four photos in this group.
I've made these photos near home, in the paddock of the Monza Circuit (in the middle of the week you can go inside without pay and is almost empty)
I've used a 70-200 f/2.8 on a Canon 1dx Mark II, with a cpl filter.
I've made 3-4 shots for every image to get rid of some reflections and merged all the shots in photoshop.
What do you think?
Is there any trick or suggestion to make them better?
Just a couple thoughts. #1 looks nice but the building in the BG kind of ruin it for me.I would bright up the highlight on the character lines and around the bumper to emphasize the shape.
The second shot by the door looks a little dead with no reflections in the side of the car. Try to find the angle where the sky or something lights up the car. The location is pretty cool though
Black cars can look great or lousy, this one IMO are somewhere in the middle :)
Try to not use the CPL very much,as it is pretty much a tool to compensate for a less than ideal location or car angle. Using a polarizer is the last resort for me...
mixed feelings so! I don't like the building on the BG either, but I don't like to change the BG so much too.
To be fair, I was using the polarizer for the first time so I was finding out how it works and how good can be.
I went there some time ago and I've photographed a much expensive car without the cpl but the result wasn't as I expected.
thank you for your considerations!
