Shield Bug (Palomena prasina, Nymph)

I've got one of these guys yesterday. It was very cooperative. Shot witch the Laowa 100mm 2x Macro lens.

Nice shot! I like how the reds and browns in the eyes, feet, and antennae match the spots on the leaves. Somehow I doubt that's an accident. camouflage.

Really nice ! You have quite different (warmer) colors than my pictures ... I assume this was golden hour ? Mine were at mid day.

Thank you Ian. No it was in the afternoon, in the shadow. I'm shooting in Raw and my White Balance is on auto. Sony AWB makes good decisions and I can change it anyway. If you shoot in jpeg then it's better to set WB in camera.
