I thought I would try out my 50 year old lenses: Canon FD 50mm f/1.5 SSC and Canon FD 28mm f/2.8 on my Canon R5 with the use of the appropriate adapter.

From a retouching point of view, there is not much change. If your aim is to change the look of the girl, there is still a lot you can do. However, it depends on how much retouching she would like to have. If it is up to you to make that decision, you can certainly do more.
There is something about the second picture (the after picture) that makes her face look kinda flat, i think it is related with the shadows and I struggle with this, I'm always wondering how much of the shadows keep in order to look good, but also i'm afraid I'd overdo it, someone recomended me to look at the work of professionals and also to study some human anatomy to know what the facial structure is and what to keep and what to take out.
Try spotting, subtly removing the wrinkles, getting the pimple on her eyebrow. Maybe even whiten the eyes just a smidge. Good luck
