Blaise Maree 03

I wanted to create a gothic image with the inspiration from the movie 'Bram Stoker's Dracula'

I have a bunch of different fabric in my studio so I got Blaise to sit on a chair and the MUA and myself just draped her with various pieces of the material.

We spent a bit of time experimenting with different poses and I selected this particular image because of her expression and I loved the way she was looking up into the void.

Lighting was a 600w Godox fitted with a grided 700mm beauty dish as the key light to the left. On the right, a grided 1200mm softbox to soften the shadow just a touch.

Paige's booth portrait

Recently, I taught an Off Camera Flash class. Paige was my model for the class. We were outdoors but it started to rain. Luckily, a nearby restaurant let us conduct the class in their dining room.
