Super budget studio portrait session for a friend's startup company.

Shot this with what i could find. Camera sony a6000, lens 30mm sigma 2.8 e-mount, 2 walimex budget studio heads (1 for the model one for the background) which could be triggered as slaves bouncing a nissin flash towards them and fixing everything else up in photoshop and lightroom. A few of the results.

I think they look great.

In the color photo, that piece of thread (or whatever it is) by his right lapel is buggin me! LOL Might want to clone that out. :)

Way better than my first (or most recent) attempts at a white BG, good job

Good job. The smile is best but both are good. The colour pic looks very slightly blue. Try adding a very little red and yellow to the mid dones, perhaps, but we are not looking for much. Nicely done.

i like the photos, the wardrobe looks nice, the expression in the top photo is very welcoming and sincere. I also like the colors in the suit and the shirt look nice as well. I'd maybe recommend posing his left shoulder towards the camera more for a variety. He may appear slimmer and since your strobe is coming from camera left, the lighting may look a little nicer on his jacket. Looks great though!

Austin, Texas Blue Hour

Was down in Austin for a bit on a work trip. I've always heard how beautiful the skyline is from the river.

Was a little let down by the clouds, but what can I do!

Two from Tenerife

My two favourite images from my recent night time adventure in Tenerife. Foregrounds and skies were shot separately and blended in PS.

Any interest in this group?

Hi all, I was looking for such a group but see that although there are many members there hasn’t been a single post. Is there interest out there in getting this group going?
