Second set of images - this time looking at some of the lichens you find on birch trees here in the north of the world.
These lichens are really fun and easy to play with as photography subjects - bursting with texture and complete tonal range.
Just a heads up for anyone that may be interested (and as things are slow in the group.....).
This female has arrived at Hamerton. This place rescues animals from all over the world, mainly endangered species, and they breed when they can.
A couple of old photos taken while the Amtrak was stopped - somewhere in Colorado, I think?
(And yes, I like that the vertical leans!)
I've photographed Ady a few times now. We get better each time as a team. This image was a fave from our latest session. I hope you like it to.

Beautifully spotted details on both sets of photos David, great as natural abstraction can be. Excellently executed.
Only bugging me what it looks like in color?
Really nice texture also like Radisa I’m wondering how they would look with desaturated color
Thanks guys, the colour versions leave a lot to be desired. Might go back and see what can be done with a proper camera tho...
