I like the first shot, moody. There is some banding in the sky.
thanks Francisco this was just me goofing around with some spare time i couldn't find anything i really liked and yes i may have done too much editing that created the banding
And for my taste first picture is better, compositionally and aesthetic. I see that you experimenting with depth of field - very interesting. And for the fog and better light conditions, more luck some other time.
lol i should have used depth of field it was gaussian blur and a little erasing at the bottom hahaha

Yeah first shot is better because of contrast. I think if the upper part wasn't blurred that'd work even better.
In the second picture you're too far from the shore, let the (center of the) curve meet the bottom left corner.
yeah i got carried away on the first after reviewing i should have left it alone it would have also been nice if there were a person involved runner/biker
