My first attempts at landscape photography

Hi all, I had the pleasure of visiting the Southwestern Research Station in Portal, Az over the summer. I managed to get quite a few shots of the landscape during the visit. These would be my very first landscape photographs--I usually do maternity and portrait.

A little bit of fine-tuning in PS. You can see what's missing in editing IMO.

whoa, what a difference that makes!

Some color corrections (to many cyan and green), darkening bright parts and some tweaking in composition. I hope I helped.

I'm curious how the quality would hold up if this were to go to print.

It all depends of the resolution of the camera and the quality of the print preparation, and of course the size of the print and the choice of substrate.

It seems a little too green/yellow for desert, but I know it can actually look like that! What an active sky! Keep going!

I like this, I think a desaturated look would look nice
Like this maybe:

For surrealist sake I think this works great!
