Crits & Suggestions Welcomed
Spent time in Hunting Beach at sunset. Wanted to try a longer exposure, and was pretty happy with the results, but and critiques or suggestion to consider on the next attempt, or how to improve this, are very welcomed.

Wonderful capture Jeff. I only would make small corrections in color balance in terms of editing. Slightly expanded the warm spectrum and reduced the effect of blue color in the lower part, below the sun.
Thank you, and great catch. Literally why I posted this. It does need a touch of warming, especially in the area below the pier but above the water.
nice image Jeff i might just pull out shadow detail in the pier, the saturation is a bit high but it works for this image
HA! You know, I fought with myself through the entire post about the saturation. I literally have two versions saved of this, a lower sat version and this one I posted.
lol i do the same thing sometimes it actually helps saturating and sometimes it looks like a grandma who didn't look in the mirror applying her makeup...just have to step away for a bit then come back to it...helps a lot
Beautiful shot Jeff, the beach would make a good getaway location. The blue color was too much making it hard to see/appreciate the beauty of the sunset, and the river bank too.
