It has been really cold and I'm not willing to risk falling on the ice and snow, which would be less slippery if it were deeper. So, I've been shooting into the woods with a 500mm Reflex-Nikkor mostly from one of the second-floor windows. The lens is sharper than these images show because the window is closed and it could be cleaner on the outside. Not to mention only having about an inch of depth-of-field to work with.
