Hi all,
just wanted to say hi and upload my first image to this group.
This image was shot during a holiday in Scotland in August 2017.
I visited this location 3 times, but is was completely cast over and raining the first two times.
Finally on the last day i saw the clouds would break up, so i told my wife i would make the 2hr trip one more time to see if i could capture the beauty of Glencoe. That evening was magical.
Damn I love images like this. Sunrise and sunset are great and all but most of life happens in between and those are the trickiest moods to capture. Very nice!
How dare you come in here and share an image like this in your very first post? Why are you trying to make the rest of us look bad?

Wow! Beautiful image, Jimmy. An outstanding first post. Excellent composition, making good use of all the elements - the mountains, the light, the shadows, those lit areas on the right. What else have you got in store for us?
