While nicely exposed and composed, the road is just a little too "sterile" to be interesting to me. An unimproved path through the landscape would have a lot more texture to get me interested in the scene.

You can probably add a rough texture to the road in Photoshop to get the effect previously mentioned by Phillip. The light is great by the way.
