Unlike northern Utah where I live, southern Utah is the land of red rock, alien and spectacular. This was my first trip to the Moab area and Dead Horse Point state park for me is a must see. Such grand and sweeping views, a mini Grand Canyon if you will, and a place of iconic visions. On this morning we took it all in, blown away by this grand earth gesture. I could ask no more and will always consider my visit to this wonderful place as...epic.

Love this one, Mark! Beautiful tree, wonderful mackerel sky. Agree with Joe about the composition. I think including more of the foreground has avoided creating a more stereotypical epic view of epic landscape, something we all like doing so much it can become clichéd.
