Mountain Shadow - Thoughts on my edit?

I reach the top of Mount Hood around 7AM. Starting the climb at midnight was exhausting, but the sunrise views from 11,000ft more than made up for it.

I am happy with the composition of this photo, but I haven't found an edit that I like. Any thoughts?

I'd be very happy with this photo as is. The only suggestion I have would be to dodge the foreground a bit to brighten the snow, but the way it looks now is probably accurate to the time you were there.

Its more accurate to how it was when I saw there. But I think some dodging and burning in the snow would help. Thanks Phillip!

It's a fantastic shot the way it is. I thought putting a little stronger texture to it, might add a little dimension to the rocks . I may have been a little heavy handed (or actually a lot and did across the board). but hopefully you get the idea.

I like the softness to the picture. What is it that you don't like? Maybe we could give more specific editing suggestions. I think the rocks are really strong in the picture, so maybe you want a little more attention in the sky / clouds? Here I just used grad filter to pull down the sky exposure, used a little dehaze and pulled highlights down a bit (Lightroom).

I do like the sky being brought down a bit. Nothing a specifically do not like. But it doesn't feel the same way as it felt in person.

This is totally awesome! I have never seen anything just like this. Big cheer for originality and beautiful image!
