Had the trip of a lifetime out to Big Sur in January and wanted to share a few pics. Camped right along the cliffs and had the waves rock us to sleep at night. Such and awesome and unforgettable landscape.
Well its a long, thrilling drive south of SF, but most definitely worth it. It's just not for the faint of heart. There is a spot on the southern end of Big Sur called the Pacific Valley (near Jade Cove) where you can actually walk right out to the cliffs and have an unobstructed view of the coastline, but its still a little scary.
Thanks Robert! Yes, for such a big landscape, you have to use the telephoto to properly show the size and power of the ocean. There are 30 foot waves and 100+ foot cliffs everywhere you look.

Appropriately titled and I liked how you mixed the wide & telephoto for the landscapes. My favorites are #3 & #4, but all memorable.

Wow, #3 with the breaking wave is stunning!
Beautiful captures! I really like the last one. Great work!
