Yearning Light

"When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy." ~ Rumi

The joy that moves through me when I'm out capturing a sunset through ICM (intentional camera movement) is one that compels me to keep doing this kind of abstract work.

To see the landscape differently, to capture it in my own unique way, to express my creative vision of light and color...this is the river that moves through me.

This is an abstract ICM of a winter sunset over the Mississippi River, using an in-camera, hand-held, horizontal movement to create the effect.
