Here you see a selection of my photos I took in Iceland. There are at least two classic iconic shots among them. The HDR of Thorsmörk looks very artificial, I know, but I consider it more as a painting than a photo that is supposed to document the scenery.
Comments are welcome.
Thank you.
Pretty good stuff! I'd personally leave a bit more breathing space up top of images 1, 2 and 7. The halo on 7 is also quite strong and a bit distracting. I don't really like the composition in 7 either, both subjects are on the same side (left) of the frame. I'd increase the contrast on 8 quite a bit, that works with most black and whites, especially abstact images like this one. The sky is a bit green in 2. For a lot of the shots the time of day/ weather conditions probably aren't ideal, but I know there's limited time on trips like this. Well done on not getting any people in the frame at Kirkjufell! Good work, hope some of that is useful :)
Thank you for your critique. I can agree with all of your points, especially with the dysbalance of objects (me and the car on the left) in number 7. I don't know what halo means in this context. Is it some bright area? I don't see it.
There were people on the Kirkjufell picture. I erased them meticulously.
Lukas covered most of my comments, however, there's also a slight halo in number 3, near the peak. It's not super strong, but still jumped out at me.
Looks like you enjoyed your trip!
