Despite of the bad weather forecasts for this morning, we tried our luck anyway and went out to the Belgian heathlands before the crack of dawn... all weather models showed low clouds so our chances to see the sun rise at the horizon were absolutely minimal. Once on site, we realised that all models were completely wrong and i witnessed one of the most dramatic sunrises in a while!
gorgeous sunrise Kevin I'm sure it looks even better in the original file the mist helps with the drama and i like that you pulled out certain areas of grass in the foreground. the trees balance the sunlight very well ...really nice capture nice and peaceful
with such a location and excellent conditions all i needed to do was push the shutter ;)

I really enjoy your images of this kind, even though many attempt this, and end up with something a bit (or very!) clichéd. Interestingly, your best images for me are in landscapes closer to your home - you "feel" them well.
