Faroe's Awakening

One of the image that I took in my Faroe Islands trip.
This one was taken in Tjørnuvík during sunrise, for taking this picture I had to get up a 3.00AM.
The image that I was thinking to take in this location was completely different but for sky I decided to run into a waterfall just with camera, tripod and lens cloth.
My idea for shooting in that locaton was to wait for a sun star but the sun was behind the mountain so when the sun star came the golden light was done but luckly before that there was a light rays wich completely add a new mood to the scene.
If you have any critique or suggestion I would love to hear them, thanks.

I like the shot a lot. Personal thoughts if I was shooting this: Less waterfall on the left side, more landscape on the right side. The waterfall is interesting, but this shot seems to be more about the beautiful landscape and less about the waterfall. Just my opinion, and artistic choice, so take it how you will. Either way I really do love the shot.

thanks for the critique Jeff

I agree with Jeff here. I think it is a great picture. If you are looking for a critique, I think the waterfall distracts you from exploring the rest of the scene. It is almost 2 pictures; the water fall and the town and bay.

I go with Shawn, it should be 2 pics. It takes me a couple seconds to interpret correctly as a landscape.I think it's the sun/shadow line and the edge of the falls making a big V...
