For a long time I've looked at this scene struggling how to make an image that I'd like. Whether it was the overgrown evergreen or the continuous rain and lightning I was never able to walk away with an image that I felt showcased this powerful and yet ethereal landscape. Thankfully I was blessed on this day with the perfect conditions which seemed all to lend themselves to both my struggle and inevitable success to make an image I am quite proud of, "FOG AND GOLD".
Can I not post photos in the groups I belong too or only via the portfolio which has stayed stuck on the same allowance for weeks.
A couple of old photos taken while the Amtrak was stopped - somewhere in Colorado, I think?

You should be proud of this. It's beautiful!
I'm not usually a huge fan of nature "intimate scenes" but I like this one. You did really well to capture the fog and the nicely contrasting colors of the greens and yellows in the image. There's one brownish-gray branch off to the right that I find a bit distracting so you might want to clone or heal it out, but otherwise, nice job!
