Was this a relatively long shutter duration? The ducks all seem a little motion blurred.
The only other critique I would offer is to crop a few pixels off the bottom to remove the gap in the wood planks that is nearest the bottom edge of the frame. As it is, the slightly wider gap on the left detracts from the sense of symmetry in the dock. Without the gap, the width of the board would obscure that angle.
thank you Phillip .. it was about 1/5s ... i was setting up for a longer exposures that morning .. when they decided to come and land into the shot ... so i scrambled to get rid of the filter etc but didnt make the shutter faster .. as i didnt want to miss them whilst in the center
Nice job, as I've quickly come to expect from you, Marius! I agree with Phillip's point about the bottom edge. I'd use a tiny bit of perspectival shift (2-3 out of 100 on my software) rather than cropping to make those front boards more parallel to frame edge.
I like the composition, with the laggard on the right adding an accent.
