Amberlie's indoor swim sesion
Amberlie reached out for a session. We discussed a few looks including a swim look. I wanted to change it up by shoot the swim look indoors. I like the way it turned out. I hope you do as well.

First time
First time this young lady posed and worked in studio. Just finished her Masters degree and is now pursuing her PhD.
A few shots from Germany
Just a few interesting details walking around a couple of towns in Germany. In the second one, I was just captured by the setting sunlight in an alley.

There is a lot to like here, but there are a few issues as well...
First you need to apply distortion correction to the image to straighten out the lines on the light house, very easy fix in light room or other similar photo editing software.
I would also lift the shadows on the light house a bit to better focus the attention there.
Nice image overall :)
There are large areas of maximum black with no detail, which rarely works well. (I know you like contrast and dense blacks, though.) There is convergence (verticals not parallel to the frame edges) in the building from tilting a wide-angle lens upwards. There is a halo around the building, most evident at the left edge.
These could all probably be massaged out, and it's potentially a fine image.
I will try to fix the halo and the tilt of the building. My original plan was to make both the building and ground black. But, I decided to make just the ground black.
You catched a good light in the sky & a beautiful glow on the building! FOr me it is a huge benefit for your photograph when the lings of the building are parallel to the frame
