14th of July 2014 in Paris. There were thousands of people on the Champs de Mars it was impossible to get a direct view. Finally a found a spot with a nice view of the Eiffel Tower through the trees!

This was taken in Sugar Land, TX at Constellation Field. They delayed the entire show because of the weather and finally shot 30 minutes of fireworks off in about 15 minutes. I was taking ~10 second exposures during the barrage hoping for one last lightning bolt. I jumped out of my chair when it streaked across the sky, almost forgot to close the shutter (bulb mode) as not to over expose. Hope you all like it.
