Last weekend, I had the pleasure to shoot some massive maples along the coast of Vancouver Island with a few fellow landscape photographers.
My favorite area of the Rockies that I have visited this far. The hike into this winter wonderland takes you from dense forests into wide-open meadows with massive mountains in every direction.

Decided to head out to have another attempt at astro using a star tracker and a fellow photographer who I bumped into in the dark on another location asked if I'm interested to check out this spot
Folds, cracks and endless incredible textures surrounded me creating countless possibilities for composition.
