You Don't Need Expensive Gear to Enjoy Landscape Photography

No matter what genre you shoot, you can quickly fall down the hole of spending a ton of money on gear in the pursuit of the perfect shot. However, you can easily create high-quality, compelling images even with basic budget gear. This excellent video is an important reminder that you do not need a lot of pricey gear to create good photos and just as importantly, to enjoy the craft.

Coming to you from Attilio Ruffo, this awesome video will show you that you do not need to carry around a lot of expensive gear to shoot excellent landscape images. While you can benefit from using expensive lenses with wide apertures in a lot of genres, one of the best parts of landscape photography is that you are normally shooting at apertures like f/8 or f/11. This means that even a budget or kit lens can produce worthwhile shots, so before you pull out your wallet, try heading out with what you already own and seeing what you can create. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Ruffo.
