All the Basics of Editing Photos in Lightroom

For most photographers, Lightroom is the place where their photos start and often, where they finish. When you are first starting in photography, it is probably the program you will first need to master, and this excellent video tutorial will show you how everything you need to know about editing a photo with it.

Coming to you from David Manning, this awesome video tutorial will show you everything you need to know about editing a photo using Lightroom. A lot of people generally think of Photoshop as the place for intense edits, and no doubt, for the most involved and complex edits, you should absolutely choose Photoshop over Lightroom. That being said, you can accomplish a lot more than you might initially think in Lightroom, particularly with some of its recent updates and newer features. I like to avoid taking an edit over to Photoshop if I can. However, no matter where you edit your photos, just remember not to overdo the edit; it is a good idea to step away from your computer for a minute or two and come back with fresh eyes for a final evaluation before you export your photos. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Manning.
