Marian, thanks for your story and comment, I never thought of it in the metaphysical sense. I have practiced this for years firstly life is too short to rush anything worth doing, but as far as travel I like to justify any trip by at least spending double the time to and from a location at the location. Even a trip to town, which most of the places I’ve lived I only do once a month.
I bought an iron concretion at a garage sale for $2. I had no idea at the time what it was, but it was interesting. I love the "travel less, stay longer" mentality!
