Tree Lines / Nature’s“Moyogi” Ponderosa Pine

While exploring for a satisfying landscape composition to include this tree, I found myself excluding more and more of the traditional or conventional elements of a landscape image. In time I totally released from listening to my brain telling me how to compose this image and let my feelings rule the image. I finally arrived here letting the tree’s shape and details veil the mountainside.

To me it looks like one of those trees that chase children through the dark enchanted forests, from movies of my childhood, 'cept for the bright blue sky!
A very neat looking tree, indeed!

Thanks Franks, those sound like some movies. “Moyogi” is a style of training a Bonsai Tree where the trunk and weave back and forth while pretty much growing vertical.
Good to hear from you.
