Woven in Roots and Waters

A hidden corner in the lush forests of Galicia, where nature weaves its own tapestry of texture, motion, and light.

That morning, the sun had already climbed high, casting a warm glow behind the cascade. I decided to lower the camera close to the stream, letting the twisted roots and scattered leaves create a foreground full of texture and depth.

The waterfall wasn’t thunderous, but its flow was strong enough to breathe life into the frame, contrasting with the stillness of the forest around it. Sunlight pierced through the canopy, drawing a golden starburst in the air, dancing over water and moss.

There’s something deeply grounding about photographing from this perspective — close to the earth, where everything begins.
