The photo was taken during a recent roadtrip through the Southwest of the USA. In Utah the monsoon season was stll active and many of the local clay/bentonite roads become impassible when wet, even with a 4x4. For that reason I decided to visit an easy to reach location close to Hanksville, Utah. This popular spot is now called Moonscape Overlook, its previous name was Skyline View. When I arrived the rain just stopped and some nice sunset colors became visible.

Juergen, this has to be one of my favorite of your most recent images. I only found it now due to a backup of notifications, which revealed themselves Sunday morning with 345 some odd show themself all at once ... I'm figuring about a months worth at least.
Thank you, Paul! I had the same issue, wasn't sure it was just me or a broader issue.
