I was hiking in a forest filled with Giant Western Red Cedars in the Northwest. This particular Giant Cedar had fallen many years ago and I thought it might make an interesting subject for a photograph. I was attracted by the shape of the fallen tree roots, contrasted against the vertical pattern of the younger cedar trees in the background. It was raining a light drizzle so everything was damp, but not soaked even though it was raining heavily just a few minutes before. A place I hope to return to in the years to come. Might be very interesting. in the winter with the typical very heavy snow, though you would need a snowmobile and snow shoes. I used a Toyo 45A camera, 90mm Sinaron lens. Kodak T-Max 100 film
