European badger (Meles meles)

This is still one of my favorite experiences in nature.
I came across two young badgers completely by chance. They were so relaxed that they didn’t even seem to notice I was there. They spent several hours playing around me while I simply watched and photographed them.
An absolutely incredible experience that I’ll never forget. Thank you, Mother Nature!
