They tell us not to look at the sun.
That it hurts. That it isn’t safe. That it’s better to close your eyes.
But when we close our eyes, we miss the light.
We miss the colors, the warmth, the moments that exist only for those who dare to look straight ahead.
I choose to look at the sun.
Not because it doesn’t hurt but because
growth is never born from comfort.
When we dare to face the light,
even when it burns,
we learn how to stand taller and stronger.
And perhaps, right where it hurts the most,
the most beautiful views are waiting.
