History and Symmetry

This is one of the top tourist hot spots in Tokyo and probably one of the most, if not the most, photographed pagoda in all of Japan. However few seem to take the time to truly appreciate the absolutely stunning symmetry on display.

One reason I love doing photography is how it helps me notice these things the general population often to overlook.

This shot is amazing man. The detail and light is perfect.
It’s a shame the rating is so low. I bet if you were an established photographer this would be 4 or 5 stars

Thanks, I’m glad you like it!

Certainly, having a reputation and a following is always a positive and may lead to a more positive reception. It would be nice to get actual feedback over a random number generator, though.

Love the bnw and repetitive patterns with amazing ornamental detail!

Thank you! I originally had it in colour, but I thought the black and white simplified it while making the details pop a little more.
