For someone who lives in one of the biggest cities in the world, I rarely indulge in street photography. Part of it is my social awkwardness preventing me from pointing my lens directly at people. The other part is my lack of patience, I don't like waiting around populated areas for something interesting to arise... but I guess that also has to do with me being socially awkward.
While in Tokyo, I stumbled upon the prefect light. I knew it would be fleeting, so I decided to hang around for a few minutes for someone to walk past. My patience paid off as this "salaryman" walked out and caught the light. Sure, he's not really doing anything "special", but the contrast of the scene really caught my eye.
