Identity Crisis

The Sumida River is one of my favorite places to visit during Spring, as it provides opportunities to photograph the wonder of nature mixing with the impressive feats of modern construction Tokyo is famous for.

I had originally called it a night right after sunset. I headed to a nearby restaurant and noticed something different about Skytree during my meal. After seeing that they had a special lighting event going on, I decided to head out a second time. I stumbled upon this interesting location, where the green leaves met the cherry blossoms under the watchful eye of Tokyo Skytree. The clouds rolling in were just the icing on top, I suppose.
