I took this with Vincent Lawrence of Acadia Images Photography Workshops at sunset as the tide was coming in. It is an HDR blend of 9 exposures from both SNS-HDR and Photomatix’ Merge to 32-bit HDR Plugin for Lightroom. I layered my favorite parts of each image in Photoshop, since neither had both the highlights and shadows quite the way I wanted them.
Camera settings: 60mm, f/8, ISO 200, 9 exposures of 1 EV stops from 1/500 to 0.5 seconds (in camera bracketing), 4650°K white balance.
Equipment used: Nikon D700, Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8, Really Right Stuff TVC-34L tripod and BH-40 ballhead with camera L plate.
