I took this image on Sept 25, 2014, 7:54 AM with Vincent Lawrence of www.acadiaimages.com and Ellen Scherer. It is an HDR blend of three long exposures, taken with a Promote Control and a B+W 10-stop ND filter. I blended them with Photomatix’ Merge to 32-bit Plugin for Lightroom.
Camera settings: 70mm, f/22, ISO 100, and three exposures of 50 seconds, 121 seconds, & 322 seconds.
Equipment used: Nikon D700, Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8, Promote Control, B+W 10-stop ND filter, and Really Right Stuff TVC-34L Tripod & BH-40 ballhead.
