I took this panorama of the boardwalk on the Jesup Trail in the Wild Gardens of Acadia National Park, Maine, September 30, 2014, 11:39 AM. It is a 35 image panorama of 7 columns and 5 rows. I shot it at 200mm f/4 for a very thin depth of field, sometimes called a “bokehrama”. It is about the perspective of a 50mm f/1.0 lens (or 80mm on medium format), but its 200 megapixels. Edited with Lightroom, stitched/blended with PTGui Pro, and cropped slightly to 4x5 ratio.
Equipment used: Nikon D700, Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II, Hoya Pro1D circular polarizer, and Really Right Stuff TVC-34L tripod w/ leveling base & multi-row panning head. Shot at 200mm, f/4, ISO 800, and 1/60 shutter speed.
