A foxtrot tulip I grew from a little bulb in my garden. I shot inches away from the top minutes after a fresh rain. I set up a 130 image focus stack to render every detail sharp using the Nikon D850's focus shifting. In order to get the background to be almost black I shot during overcast skies and underexposed my frame 2 stops so that I could then drop the shadows further in post.
