My first milky way outing of the season was spent in below 20 degree weather with my buddy John. Lately I had been struggling finding inspiration to go out but as soon as I saw the night sky again I remembered why I shoot it so much. The vastness of the sky, the strain it takes off your eyes not being surrounded by light, the quiet calm sounds (other than coyotes), and the wonder it brings as I contemplate just how amazing our world looks at night.
