Early morning light at the Mesquite Sand Dunes is dramatic and very contrasting. This was one of my favorite parts of the trip to Death Valley because there were so many opportunities for creative compositions using a telephoto lens.
I added a little extra contrast to give the shadows and light in this photo a bit more "oomph".
