This shot is the last photo I took of the milky way this year meandering in the Mt. Hood National Forest. The smoke from California's wildfires in September was making its way north and ended up causing the brighter stars in this photo to "glow" above Mt Hood.
This image is a focal blend of 70mm foreground and 45mm sky taken from the same location/direction without moving the tripod and within minutes of each other.
