This shot is a modern take on the vintage Hollywood glam style, incorporating a monochromatic blue lighting design instead of black and white.
This shot includes four lights. Two lights with blue gels and reflectors in front to saturate the scene with blue and grab the sparkle in the shirt. One light with reflector and blue gel behind and camera right for an edge light, and a gridded reflector as key camera left. The white balance was shifted as I was shooting tethered to help create the color.
Very good frame. was reflecting in my thoughts about the right arm in prominent blue gel.
