Back in 2019, my mother approached me about being in one of my costumed photoshoots. We ended up settling on Elizabethan for a theme. I warned her that I would want the photo to have at least some degree of historical accuracy, so she wouldn’t match modern beauty standards. She was a trooper through the whole hair and makeup and shooting process, and we were able to create this image. My amazing dad was, as always, a wonderful asset to have on set.
This set up is three lights. A gridded reflector camera right also modified with a homemade v-flat, a fill light in softbox camera left, and a background light on a canvas backdrop. BTS available @emilyhmoorephoto
