I made this shot of my friend, Ari, with a 50 year old lens I picked up for $70. I paired the Nikon 50mm F/1.4 pre-AI lens with a 1/4 @tiffen black pro mist filter to create the dreamy atmosphere in this shot! BTS on my Instagram @emilyhmoorephoto . Shot was taken with four lights: a gridded beauty dish camera right, a large octagon for fill behind camera, and two 33" silver umbrellas behind and turned back toward the model.
