Mon Dieu! So simple, so clean, so awesome. Yet another favourite. By the way Quentin what's the greenish stuff on her hair on the right side? Or is that visible only on my side?

Quentin Decaillet's picture

Thanks Kornel :) The "greenish stuff" seems to be due to the compression, it doesn't look like that in Photoshop.

Great photo Quentin, subtle lighting, strong focus points and attention drawn immediately into the shot. Will check out your other shots from this guy!

Impressive !

amazing...just one octabox for light??

Quentin Decaillet's picture

Yes, just one massive Elinchrom Indirect Litemotiv 190cm. But the floor, ceiling and wall of the place were made of light wood or painted white. So the light was reflected all over the place and I had nice fill light without the need for a reflector or another strobe :)

Raw development and color correction with C1, then a bit of dodging and burning in Photoshop, that's about it. I didn't do much in post actually… A Gorgeous model along with beautifully soft light (Elinchrom Indirect Litemotiv 190cm) go a long way :)

Gorgeous! How did you place the light?

Quentin Decaillet's picture

Something like thathttp://s21.postimg.org/oab2l1pzb/Capture_d_e_cran_2016_09_19_a_23_08_32.png

The indirect 190 is so soft, it really is just like a huge diffused window, no need for anything really complicated :)

Cool - thanks!! Above eye level angled a bit down or just straight on like a window?
