As I have been traveling more lately, I have had to re-think my camera bag to take only what could be useful.
Elinchrom had been kind enough to lend me an ELB 400 in ordrer to review their Litemotiv Indirect while being on the go. As my beauty dish was to big to take along (27"), I had to take only the small one (17"). However, I felt like the contrast it gives is really strong and does not suit every model as it makes skin imperfection very visible! So I brought along my old Deep Octa 39" which I used for this particular photo. One head, one light shaper, no reflector. It gives a very beautiful light, very much comparable to a beauty dish. And for travelling it is really practical, way more than a beauty dish!
